Giganomics

Boketto is an evolving prog-hop band from Oneonta, NY. Bits of jazz, funk, jam, hip-hop, and progressive rock fuse to form this unique group. Members contribute in a fluid manner to the music, and originally came together through an elective music course at SUNY Oneonta. The Japanese word "boketto" means "to stare aimlessly at a scene without labeling it" - and that is exactly the type of atmosphere the band aims to create. Through clusters of sounds and thought-provoking messages, Boketto transcends labels and gets people moving.
